Yonason Goldson spent some of his formative years hitching rides and sleeping in hostels, campgrounds, or by the side of the road in the US, Europe and parts farther afield. He lived for several years in Israel where he met his wife and earned his rabbinic ordination and, together, they lived in Budapest, Hungary teaching for a year. Goldson now lives in St. Louis where he teaches high school, lectures adults, and writes on contemporary issues.
