2012 Teens' Top 10

What are the top ten books picked by teens?

NOT by mom, NOT by Grandma, and definitely NOT by odd Uncle Dave who keeps trying to get you to read that weird author you've never heard of.

Well here they are:

PS. Here's how they were chosen. Nominators are members of teen book groups in sixteen school and public libraries around the country. Nominations are posted on Support Teen Literature Day, the Thursday of National Library Week, and teens across the country vote on their favorite titles each year. Readers ages twelve to eighteen vote online in August and September; the winners are announced during Teen Read Week (that's this week Oct 17-23).  It's a production of those fabulous folks at the American Library Association.

See the 2012 list of nominations here.
