Crystal and Eric will offer a Gardening 101 mini session. Participants can plants seeds into recycled pots to take home for their home garden. Kelley Powers will read her children's picture book, Semore the Bird Tells All that He Heard (illustrated by Crystal and Eric Stevens) and lead a Semore craft. Individuals and families will learn about gardening, compost, healthy eating, reducing, reusing, recycling and growing for the greater good.

Grow, Create, Inspire is a rallying cry, itself an inspiration urging all of us to help fill the vital need for growth -- not only of food, but also in the hearts and the minds of individuals around the globe. Focusing on step-by-step approaches to accumulating skills toward self-sufficiency, Grow, Create, Inspire is a comprehensive guide to creating a beautiful, regenerative, and deeply satisfying life, covering everything from basic and more advanced growing tips, preparing and preserving harvest, and generally greening those aspects of life which bring about happiness, including, food, art, music, beauty, and time in nature.

Increasing individual happiness ultimately leads to creating positive changes in our families and communities, and empowering others to do the same. Together, we can grow, create, and inspire a new world of beauty and abundance, while helping ensure our descendants can do the same in a healthy, vibrant world.

Crystal and Eric Stevens are organic vegetable farmers, artists, community educators and permaculture enthusiasts. They work at EarthDance Organic Farm School. They have 2 children who love to help in the garden and kitchen.

Kelley Powers is an educator and librarian. She is active in her community, engaging the youth with sustainability. She is currently working on a children's book series in alignment with sustainable living. Kelley and her husband Kyle live in Florrisant, MO with their 2 dogs.
